Granted he was no expert on Incredibly Stupid Spells, but from what he knew, marriage tattoos constituted blood magic and as such were notoriously difficult to remove. Not unlike the Dark Mark, Draco thought, with a sigh. Only two Death Eaters had ever attempted to remove said Mark and currently, only one was alive to tell the tale. The very mention of a drunken Draco and Hermione, an unexpected marriage and tattoos got my panties in a twist. Who could possible say no to that? The plot was also interesting, and I enjoyed learning more about dragons and the magic community in general. Imara’s family and Ronar’s friends were great secondary characters. However, there were quite a lot of slower parts to the novel. Though the action and ending were exciting, the book would’ve seemed a lot more fast-paced and suspenseful if some of the fluff had been cut out. She has always been looked down on by everyone in her village! She s broken! Everyone else can touch and control one of the elements in the village! Everyone… except her! She is beautiful! She is friendly, helpful, works hard, and loves her sister, Mom, and Dad! But she is broken and can’t touch any elements, so is despised, hated, talked around, and not worthy of anything! She will never marry, because if she marries and has children, they feel she will pass on her inability to touch anything to help crops grow, or anything else! So… what to do with her. She was kind and independent and loyal—overall, just a really solid person. Ronar was enjoyable as well, though I felt he could be too sarcastic and dismissive at times. Their chemistry was a bit slow to start, but they eventually became very passionate and loving toward one another.

When I did manage to duct tape my brain, Sol’s POV just read like a contemporary dude and we know how I feel about that lol. I like pampering but this came close to babying and that’s just not for me. I didn’t like either one of the two main characters and I felt zero heart connection to either or both. The writing style didn’t help matters either. For a moment, he fought the urge to give in to nausea; the foul taste in his mouth and the stale smell of cigarette smoke and old carpet decidedly not helping matters. Without giving it too much thought, he closed his eyes and pressed his mouth and nose against Granger's hairline, breathing in her scent. Something, anything that would take his mind off his roiling stomach.Her features are symmetrical. Her body… I roll my lower lip between my teeth. She is maybe too thin, but there is a daintiness to her that pleases me. Perhaps because it reminds me of my own strength by comparison. I could crush her if I wanted to.
