Description

Beast Snaggas are all about the squigs, from Zodgrod’s living wig to the giant tramplasquigs that lug their Kill Rigs into battle. Squighog Boyz are partial to a medium variety of squig, all the better to blitz headlong at whoever they’re fighting and duff them up on the charge. This set, again available on its own for the first time, contains five models – three regular boys, a Nob on a Smasha Squig, and a Bomb Squig (whose grot rider appears not to appreciate the imminent explosion he’s riding towards, and indeed on top of).

Best of all, these models we’ve shown off are only half of the greenskin reinforcements you’ll be seeing this year. Keep an eye firmly trained on our regular ‘Ere We Go article series to discover what’s coming next. Oh, and if you’re worried about the Beast Snaggas getting all of the new toys, don’t be. As diverse and volatile a group of Orks as ever there was, the Beast Snaggas are united by their universal abundance of scar tissue, bionic limbs, and a shared desire to fight things bigger than themselves. The Beast Snagga keyword not only gives these units a 6+ invulnerable save, but also +1 to hit rolls made against Monsters and Vehicles, which seems like a pretty good starting point.

Useful tips

Beast Snagga Boyz can run in units between 10 and 20 strong, which means they play a slightly more specialised role than ordinary Boyz. These fighters may mob together in smaller numbers, but they make up for it in brute hitting power. Zodgrod's preposterous ideas that Grots aren't entirely useless have made him an outcast in much of Ork society, and he has since joined the Beast Snagga culture. [2] Images

By using such un-Orky practices as ‘positive reinforcement’, Zodgrod lifts the runts under his care to heights other Gretchin can only dream of, much to the collective derision of his peers.

They liebstered me

The Snakebites' klan sigil is a venomous serpent, typically green on a yellow banner, and they like to festoon themselves in venomous serpents, hides, and furs as they trundle exuberantly into battle.
