Description

Roland on the Ropes is a conversion of Spectrum game called Fred published by the Spanish hardware and software developer and publisher Indescomp in 1983 a year before the release of the Amstrad CPC 464. Gameplay Roland on the Ropes [2] (by Indescomp) - A copy of the Spanish game Fred. Roland had to collect bullets, treasures and maps while climbing ropes to get out of a tomb/pyramid. Some villains can be destroyed (skeletons, bats, mummies) while some can only be forced to change direction (ghosts) and some have to be jumped over (dripping poison, rats, scorpions). When the game ends, the end music is the Funeral March. The game was released for the Spectrum and the Commodore as well, and was later remade for the PC. [3] You find yourself right at the lowest level of the tomb and must endeavour to find your way through the maze to the top encountering may hostile beings who are out to get you. Management software for ALL Pseudo-ROM expansions: FG, M4, MF, SF2, SF3, X-MEM etc.; ROManager on FutureOS XROM

Zahra Mansouri’s boxing ring stage is slowly pulled apart as the glittering career gives way to the second, darker act in Vanriel’s life when he sinks into depression and drug dependency. Worse still, he is refused re-entry to the UK after travelling to Jamaica, living in poverty and ill health for the next 13 years before David Lammy MP and the Guardian’s campaigning leads to his return home, and a landmark victory in the high court. Being the intrepid Roland, you are able to jump over the rats to escape them and to defend yourself you can shoot at the mummies, skeletons or vampires, inevitably killing them. WordStar compatible text editor, 2-pass assembler, Z80 tester/debugger, Terminal program (incl. X-Modem protocol) - Roms in slot 4 and 12 Roland has to content with Rats, Chameleons, Mummies, Skeletons, Bats and Ghosts. Roland is armed with a gun with limited ammo which can be used to kill the Mummies, Skeletons and Bat but only scares the Ghosts away for a short while. Rats and Chameleons have to be avoided, jumping over the Rats and switching the side of the ropes you are climbing up for the Chameleons. Roland was a game character developed in 1984 by Alan Sugar, CEO of Amstrad, and Jose Luis Dominguez, a Spanish game designer.
