Iona arrives in Ireland with nothing but her Nan’s directions, an unfailingly optimistic attitude, and an innate talent with horses. Arriving at the beautiful and atmospheric Castle Ashford, Iona is excited to meet her cousins, Connor and Branna O'Dwyer, for the first time.The goods do not need to be in their original packaging however in a sellable condition, and at your own cost and risk. I was definitely frustrated by the romance in this book and it was a big issue to me, ‘cause when It comes to Nora Roberts I have the highest standards. At times, I found myself imputing motives and emotions from her other books that were similar just to fill in the gaps. It felt like the author assumes we have read all her previous witch based books and therefore we know what this struggle is about. Their ear for talented performers is evident, as the artists they engage on their music nights are a huge draw, and therefore pre booking is a wise move.

It opens up an emotional pathway for her that not only links her to the past but allows for her to lay roots and become the person she will need to be in the future. I loved her mention of the filming of "The Quiet Man" there and the parade for Maureen O'Hara just a few years ago. However we do now have a large wooden Booth type seat and table with scatter cushions and in the window we have cushioned chairs. Iona has sold her belongings and taken off to Ireland to meet her cousins, Branna and Conner, who are the other two descendants.

The second book in the Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy, Shadow Spell, is set to release on May 6th, 2014 (as of this blog post). Roberts’ writing is just atmospheric enough to make you want to run away to the Emerald Isle, without being overly descriptive.However, if I’m comparing this series starter against other witch-y tales by the queen of romance, then I would have to say this one fell slightly short.

The problem is that we're way past that now and the ideas and ways to present them continuously seem to be recycled.As the two of them fall for each other, Cabhan’s power grows and the cousins, along with their friends, must join together to again try to vanquish him before he steals the power of the Dark Witch. This first book, Iona's story is not nearly as menacing as the first in the Three Sisters trilogy, which perhaps lets it down somewhat. Pretty Cure and the knights of the Diamond Line follow but are not able to defeat her at first, as her evil magic is too powerful for them to counter.
