I sometimes found that this bok lacked some depth so I used it in conjunction with "Systematic Approaches to a Successful literature review" which has a more formal way to it but explains things in more depth. Although most universities run short classes or modules on systematic reviews, I think this book beats them because it takes everything slowly, step by step.

There are fantastic links to other resources too, which I found invaluable and examples of common problems that students have brought to supervision.
