When you're reviewing an image on your EOS camera, repeatedly press the Info button to scroll through the different viewing options until you see a histogram. The first histogram view you'll see is the luminance histogram; to view the RGB colour histograms in addition, press the Info button again. No matter how good your printer, you will not be able to produce prints with colours that are fully accurate if your workflow isn't colour-managed. Typically, monitor and laptop screens tend to be too bright and their colours too cool (too blue) compared to normal viewing conditions for prints, so a printed image will look very different from the image on-screen. Ideally you should calibrate your monitor and get your workspace lighting conditions as close as possible to the conditions in which you intend to display your print. When you're printing, Canon recommends using its specialist Professional Print & Layout (PPL) software, which offers powerful soft proofing and hard proofing features to help you match your printed image with what you see on screen. sRGB is good for computer displays and most photographic printing (including inkjet printers). Adobe RGB is more suitable for book and magazine printing, but only when the files are processed correctly. Using sRGB for everything is perfectly acceptable most of the time. At EOS magazine, we use sRGB colour space which is converted to CMYK for printing.

By default, the Automatic Substitution is on for Repeat & Save, but you can disable this setting via the My Account section of the portal. On a few levels you simply need to move platforms out of the way so they do not interfere with the existing ball path. You can modify your Repeat & Save subscription settings anytime by logging into the My Account section of the portal.The RGB histograms show the brightness of the three individual colour channels, and they are especially useful when you're shooting a scene with a subject that is predominantly one colour. When opening or closing the Scanning Unit (Cover), do not touch the buttons and LCD on the Operation Panel. Doing so may result in an unexpected operation.
